CLASSIFICATION OF NON-ANTICLINAL TRAP TYPES IN THE BINAGADI AND SULUTEPE OIL AND GAS FIELDS IN AZERBAIJAN

Abstract

The main condition is the precise classification of stratigraphic-lithological traps of non-anticlinal type with the allocation of horizons on the compiled map. Providing accurate and complete information on each perspective horizon of the Binagadi and Sulutepe fields, it is possible to indicate their differences. One of the elements of the forecast of non-anticlinal traps is the study of horizons, interpretation and detection of the zone of stratigraphic and lithologicalwedging. Thus, on the basis of the constructed maps and the definition of oil contours on the Binagadi and Sulutepe areas, it is possible to estimate the location of oil and gas wells.
