Abstract

Management must determine the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT). Then the strategist will match the corporate strengths to the environmental opportunities available and reduce the corporate weaknesses facing environmental threats. This process is known as SWOT analysis. Management uses SWOT analysis to make decisions about developing the overall strategy of the corporation, system and sector. Turkey’s geographical position, highly skilled human resources in production and management and unsaturated domestic market with high growth potential will be key factors in attracting foreign capital inflows and expansion of healthcare sector. Falling morbidity & mortality rates, growing population and improving demographic indicators, improving healthcare awareness, Market regulations increasingly in line with European Union are strenghts of Turkish health care sector

Sağlık Sektöründe GZFT (Güçlü-Zayıf Yönler-Fırsatlar-Tehditler) Analizi

Abstract

Yönetim işletmenin güçlü, zayıf yönlerini, fırsatlarını ve tehditlerini (GZFT) belirlemek zorundadır. Daha sonra stratejist dış çevredeki fırsatlar ile güçlü yönleri birleştirecek, dış çevredeki tehditler ile zayıf yönleri azaltma davranışı gösterecektir. Bu süreç GZFT analizi olarak bilinmektedir. Yönetim GZFT analizini işletmenin, sistemin, sektörün genel stratejisi ile ilgili kararları almak için kullanmaktadır. Türkiye’nin coğrafik konumu, üretim ve yönetimdeki nitelikli insan kaynakları, gelişmeye açık güçlü iç pazarı sağlık sektörünün gelişmesini ve yabancı sermaye akışını etkilemektedir. Düşmekte olan ölüm ve hastalık hızları, gelişmekte olan nüfus ve demografik göstergeler, sağlık bakımının farkındalığının artması, sağlık personelinin profesyonelleşmesi, sağlık sektöründe Avrupa Birliği ile uyum çalışmaları Türkiye sağlık sektörünün güçlü taraflarıdır
