Parkinson Hastalığı ve Önleyici, Koruyucu ve Rehabilite Edici Sosyal Hizmet

Abstract

Parkinson hastalığı henüz modern tıbbın tedavisini bulamadığı süreğen bir hastalıktır. Parkinson hastalığının nedenleri tam olarak bilinmemektedir. İleri yaş, genler ve çevresel etkenlerin etkileşimiyle olduğu düşünülen bir hastalıktır. Yapılan araştırmalarda en önemli bağımsız değişkenin çevresel etmenler olduğu düşünülmekte ve özellikle tarım ilaçlarının yoğun ve yanlış kullanımı suçlanmaktadır. Sosyal hizmet insanların ve toplumların iyilik hallerine katkı veren bir meslektir. Süreğen hastalıklardan birisi ve uzun süreli, pahalı ve zorlu bir hastalık olan Parkinson hastalığı hastaların hayat kalitelerini azalttığı gibi devletlerin de sağlık harcamalarını artırarak sosyal adaletin sağlanmasında önemli bir engel olabilmektedir. Sağlık hakkı ve sağlıklı ve dengeli bir çevrede yaşama hakkına sahip olmak hem üçüncü kuşak insan haklarından birisi hem de Anayasal bir hak olmakla birlikte, çevreyi geliştirmek, çevre sağlığını korumak ve çevre kirlenmesini önlemek de Devletin ve vatandaşların ödevidir. Bu konuda sosyal hizmet mesleğine büyük sorumluluklar düşmektedir. Sosyal hizmet çevre sorunları ve Parkinson hastalığı için önleyici, koruyucu ve rehabilite edici mesleki uygulamalarını tıbbi sosyal hizmet, endüstriyel sosyal hizmet ve insan hakları kapsamında sivil toplum kuruluşları, ilgili kurumlar ve sosyal politika yapıcılarla birlikte disiplinler arası bütüncül çalışmalarla gerçekleştirmelidir.

Parkinson's Disease and Preventive, Protective and Rehabilitative Social Work

Abstract

Parkinson's disease is a chronic disease for which modern medicine has not yet found a cure. The causes of Parkinson's disease are not fully known. It is a disease that is thought to be caused by the interaction of advanced age, genes and environmental factors. In the researches, it is thought that the most important independent variable is environmental factors, and especially intensive and misuse of pesticides is blamed. Social work is a profession that contributes to the well-being of people and societies. Parkinson's disease, which is one of the chronic diseases and a long-term, expensive and difficult disease, reduces the quality of life of patients and can be an important obstacle in ensuring social justice by increasing the health expenditures of the states. The right to health and the right to live in a healthy and balanced environment is both a third generation human right and a constitutional right. At the same time, it is the duty of the State and citizens to improve the environment, protect environmental health and prevent environmental pollution. In this regard, the social work profession has great responsibilities. Social work should carry out preventive, protective and rehabilitative professional practices for environmental problems and Parkinson's disease through interdisciplinary holistic studies with non-governmental organizations, relevant institutions and social policy makers within the scope of medical social work, industrial social work and human rights.
