Endemik Muscari discolor Boiss & Hausskn Türü Üzerine Karyolojik Bir Çalışma

Year 2009, Volume: 2 Issue: 34, 107 - 112, 01.06.2009

Abstract

A Karyological study on Endemic Muscari discolor Boiss & Hausskn Species

Year 2009, Volume: 2 Issue: 34, 107 - 112, 01.06.2009

Abstract

By this study, Muscari discolor Boiss & Hausskn was investigated karyologically. This is the second chromosome count for this species but the karyotype morphology of M. discolor is presented here for the first time. The chromosome number was found as 2n=18. In the karyotype, 5 metacentric (M) and 4 submetacentric (SM) chromosome pairs were found, in one of which a secondary constriction was detected. The secondary constriction was on the long arm of the 6th chromosome pair
