Şair Olarak Harold Pinter: Şefkat Ve Hakikat

Abstract

Bu çalışma Pinter’ın 1948-2007 yılları arasında yazdığı şiirlerinden bazılarını ilk dönem şiirleri, İrlanda şiirleri ve savaş karşıtı şiirleri başlıkları altında inceleyerek Pinter’ın şair olarak değişimini keşfeder. Yazarın edebi eserleri çoğunlukla ‘absürd’, ‘gizemli’ ve ‘bilinmez’ olarak yorumlanır, halbuki Pinter eserlerinde acımasız bir dünyada bireyin varolma çabalarını anlatır. İlk dönem şiirlerinde genç edebiyatçı, yeni şekillenen düşüncelerini, hayat görüşünü güçlü ve orjinal bir hayal gücü ile anlatır. İrlanda ve Yeats Pinter’ın edebi duyarlılığında, özellikle şiirlerinde çok etkili olmuştur. Çalışmanın 3. bölümü Pinter’ın savaş karşıtı şiirlerini inceler. Bu dönemde Pinter, ilk dönem eserlerindeki içine kapanık sanatçı rolünün aksine sanatını toplumun gerçeklerini yansıtmak için kullanan bir edebiyatçı olarak sanatsal rolünü yenilemiştir
