Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the impacts of perceptions of employees’ corporate social responsibility on organizational identification. Data sampling of the study is gathered from 455 employees of one national and international furniture manufacturing industry firm based in Kayseri. The findings of research reveal that the three sub-dimensions – economic, ethical and philanthropic responsibilities - of social corporate responsibility have positive and significant impact on organizational identification. However, it is found that legal responsibility has no impact on organizational identification. Finally, limitations of the study are given and some suggestions are made for subsequent studies.

KURUMSAL SOSYAL SORUMLULUK ALGILAMALARININ ÖRGÜTSEL ÖZDEŞLEŞME ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk algılamalarının örgütsel özdeşleşme üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın örneklemini Kayseri ilinde mobilya sektöründe ulusal ve uluslararası alanda faaliyet gösteren öncü bir firmada çalışan 455 personel oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın bulguları, kurumsal sosyal sorumluluğun alt boyutlarından ekonomik, etik ve hayırseverlik odaklı sorumluluk faaliyetlerinin örgütsel özdeşleşme üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif bir etkiye sahip olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Buna karşın yasal sorumluluk algılamalarının örgütsel özdeşleşme üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada son olarak; araştırmanın kısıtlarına ve gelecek araştırmalar için bazı önerilere yer verilmiştir.
