INTERNATIONAL SECURITY PROBLEMS AND THE SECURITY STRATEGIES OF THE USA

Abstract

Security as one of the main issues discussed by IR colleagues has been explained with different theoric and conceptual perspectives. Due to new contributions of critical approachs in IR, it has been necessary to re-think about what is secure or not. This paper tries to discuss the term of “security” and find out the changes in foreign policies of the USA after 9/11. So the theoric approachs, conceptual discussions and historical events have been the main parts of the paper
