Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate whether consumers can be partitioned in terms of price perception in different market segmentations. Further, with the specific importance of demographic factors, market segmentations will be analyzed in detail. To test for the hypotheses and gather detailed information about the research subject, 400 selected consumers living in Kayseri have been interviewed face to face. 364 questionnaires, which is available and ready to use, have further been cross-checked by applying reliability and validity analyses. Then, the variables have been tested by applying cluster analysis and ANOVA test, and research hypotheses have been tested. The results of the tests related to market segmentations have been offered in detail.
