Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the burnout levels of academicians according to the
dimesions of burnout and total burnout and to analyse their perceptions of burnout dimensions
according to the sex, age, marital status, educational level and title variables. This research was
conducted to 151 academicans working at Ahmet Kelesoglu Education Faculty, Faculty of
Arts, Management and Business Administration, Faculty Of Communication, Faculty Of Divinity and Vocational School Of Social Sciences associated to Konya Selçuk University in the 2010-2011 Academic Year

Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, akademisyenlerin tükenmişliğinin, tükenmişlik alt boyutlarında ve toplam tükenmişlikte hangi düzeyde olduğunu belirlemek ve tükenmişlik alt boyutlarına ilişkin algılarını, cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, mesleki kıdem, ve ünvan değişkenleri açısından incelemektir. Araştırma 2010-2011 Akademik yılı içerisinde Selçuk Üniversitesi’ne bağlı bulunan Ahmet Keleşoğlu Eğitim Fakültesi, Edebiyat Fakültesi, İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi, İletişim Fakültesi, İlahiyat Fakültesi ve Sosyal Bilimler Meslek Yüksek Okulu’nda görev alan 151 akademisyene uygulanmıştır.
