Abstract
Financial risk is a crucial concept in today’s global-based free market economy and the
international investments area. The most advanced technique that businesses use to avoid the
financial risk is the derivative products. In this study, one of the most widely-accepted derivative
products that is swap is introduced as a technique to avoid risk and as a tool of speculation,
in addition to that entering swap in the accounts is also introduced in the study.
Abstract
Küresel rekabete dayalı serbest piyasa ekonomisinin ve uluslararası yatırımların önem kazandığı günümüzde mali risk yönetimi önemli bir kavram olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Firmaların mali riskten korunmak için kullandıkları tekniklerin en gelişmişi türev ürünleridir. Bu çalışmada türev ürünlerden en çok kabul gören swap; riskten korunma ve spekülasyon amacıyla kullanılan bir teknik olarak tanıtılmış ve muhasebeleştirilmesi konusuna değinilmiştir.
