Abstract
Regardless of company size, the impact of Information Technology (IT)
implementation on a company’s competitive performance is paramount. From this point
of view, the aim of this study is to elaborate the impact of IT implementation level on
company performance in Small and Medium Sized Manufacturing Enterprises (SMEs).
Depending on the results gathered through a survey implemented to 66 SMEs located in
Konya Manufacturing Industry, the benefits of IT implementation are shown and factors
that should be taken into account to achieve the potential benefits of IT implementation
are discussed
BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ KULLANIMININ İŞLETME PERFORMANSINA ETKİSİ: KÜÇÜK VE ORTA ÖLÇEKLİ SANAYİ İŞLETMELERİNDE BİR UYGULAMA
Abstract
Bilişim teknolojileri (BT) kullanımının, ölçekleri (küçük, orta, büyük) önemli olmaksızın işletmelerin performansı üzerinde önemli bir etkisi bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada BT kullanımının küçük ve orta ölçekli sanayi işletmelerinin (KOSİ) performansı üzerindeki etkisinin araştırılması amaçlanmaktadır. Konya ilinde faaliyette bulunan 66 KOSİ ile gerçekleştirilen uygulama sonucunda elde edilen bulgular ışığında BT kullanımının faydaları ve bu faydaların elde edilmesi için BT uygulamasında dikkate alınması gerekli faktörler tartışılmaktadır.
