Abstract

Ülkemizde üretilen bahçe ürünlerinin yapılan tahminlere göre yaklaşık %10-30’u üreticiden tüketiciye ulaşıncaya kadar bozulup, atılmaktadır. Yıllık elma üretimimiz düşünülürse, bu kaybın miktarı oldukça önemli bir değere ulaşmaktadır. Bu derlemede, bugüne kadar ülkemizde yaş meyve ve sebzelerdeki kayıplar, özellikle elma konusunda yapılan çalışmalar ve saptanan bulgular ve bu kayıpları önleme konusunda öneriler verilmiştir. Kayıpların önemli bir kısmının derim sırasında olduğu belirlenmiştir
