Karaman İli İklim Koşullarına Uygun Elma Depolama Yapılarının Planlanması

Abstract

Belirli mevsimde olgunlaşıp derimi yapılan elmalar, teknolojinin gereği şekilde kullanılmaması sonucu birçok etmenin etkisi ile niteliklerini kaybederek tazeliğini koruyamamakta, ülke ekonomisini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Elmaların derimden sonra besin değerinin koruması, zararların önlenmesi ve her mevsimde tazeliğini korumaları ancak uygun koşullara sahip depolarda depolanmasıyla olasıdır. Elma yetiştiriciliğinin yapıldığı Karaman ilinde yetiştirilen ürün miktarının fazla olması karşısında soğuk hava depoları yetersiz kalmakta, daha modern ve daha büyük depolara gereksinim duyulmaktadır. Bu çalışmada elma depolamasında gerekli çevre koşulları ve depolama yapıları ile ilgili literatür çalışması yapılarak, Karaman ilinde yapılacak elma depolama yapılarında, iklim koşullarına uygun depolama koşullarının sağlanmasına ilişkin planlama kriterleri ortaya konmuştur

Design of Proper Apple Storage Facilities for Karaman Province

Abstract

The fruits, ripened and collected at a certain season, loose their quality and freshness due to several factors as result of improper technology utilization and consequently have negative impacts over economy of the country. Keeping nutritious values, prevention of diseases and conservation of freshness all the time will only be possible with the construction and utilization of proper storage facilities. Although the Province of Karaman has a high potential of apple production, cold air storages are not sufficient and there is a need for more modern and larger capacity storages. In this study, literature review was performed about apple storages and necessary environmental conditions and design criteria to meet the required storage conditions were specified for apple storages to be built in the Province of Karaman
