Abstract

Ülkemizde üretilen bahçe ürünlerinin yapılan tahminlere göre yaklaşık %10-30’u üreticiden tüketiciye ulaşıncaya kadar bozulup, atılmaktadır.
Yıllık elma üretimimiz düşünülürse, bu kaybın miktarı oldukça önemli bir değere ulaşmaktadır. Bu derlemede, bugüne kadar ülkemizde yaş meyve
ve sebzelerdeki kayıplar, özellikle elma konusunda yapılan çalışmalar ve saptanan bulgular ve bu kayıpları önleme konusunda öneriler verilmiştir.
Kayıpların önemli bir kısmının derim sırasında olduğu belirlenmiştir

Abstract

In Turkey, the postharvest losses of horticultural crops before reaching to consumers are about 10 to 30%. The amount of losses reaches to very high magnitude when considering annual apple production. This paper discusses postharvest losses of fresh fruit and vegetables, and the result of previous studies on the apple fruits and makes suggestions to prevent the losses. It is determined that postharvest losses mostly occurred during harvest
