Eskişehir Kuru Koşullarında Ekmeklik ve Makarnalık Buğday Çeşitlerinin Bazı Verim Unsurları, Verim ve Kalite Özelliklerinin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, ekmeklik (Gün-91, İkizce-96 ve Tosunbey) ve makarnalık (Çeşit-1252, Kızıltan-91 ve Yılmaz-98) buğdayların verim,
verim özellikleri ve kalitesi Eskişehir koşullarında karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre verim unsurları bakımından ekmeklik buğday
çeşitlerinin makarnalık buğdaylara göre bitki ve başak boylarının daha uzun, başakta tane sayısının daha fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. Başakçık
sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı ve tane verimi bakımından ekmeklik ve makarnalık buğday çeşitleri arasında bir varyasyon
olduğu görülmüştür. Ekmeklik buğday çeşitleri Kızıltan-91 ve İkizce-96 sırasıyla en düşük ve en yüksek tane verimine sahip olmuştur. Kalite
özelliklerinden tane sertliği bakımından en yüksek değere makarnalık buğday çeşitlerinden Yılmaz-98’in, en düşük değere ise Çeşit-1252’nin
sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Tane protein içeriği ve sapta % toplam azot konsantrasyonu bakımından ortalama değerlerde makarnalık
buğdaylar ekmeklik buğdaylardan daha yüksek değerlere sahip olmuştur. En yüksek tane protein içeriğine makarnalık buğday Yılmaz-98 sahip
olurken, en düşük tane proteinine ekmeklik buğday çeşidi Gün-91 sahip olmuştur.

Comparison of Some Yield Components, Yield and Quality Characteristics of Bread and Durum Wheat Cultivars under Dry Conditions in Eskişehir

Abstract

Central Anatolia Region is our one of the most important cereal producing areas. In this region, within cereals, bread and durum wheat growing has a great importance. In this study, it has been aimed to find out the superior features of three bread wheat cultivars (Gün 91, İkizce 96, Tosunbey) and three durum wheat cultivars (Çeşit-1252, Kızıltan 91, Yılmaz 98) to each other as comparing some yield components, yield and quality characteristics under dry farming conditions in Eskişehir where is included to transitional climate zone and therefore it has a specific soil fertility properties. According to the findings, in terms of yield components, bread wheat cultivars had longer plant height and spike length and more grain per spike than durum wheat cultivars. A variation was found in terms of number of spikelet, number of grains per spike, grain weight per spike and grain yield within bread and durum wheat varieties. Bread wheat cultivars Gün 91 and İkizce 96 had the lowest and highest grain yield, respectively. In terms of grain hardiness which is a quality characteristic it has been determined that durum wheat cultivars Yılmaz 98 had the highest while Çeşit-1252 had the lowest value. With respect to grain protein content and nitrogen % concentration in stem as average value durum wheat had higher value than bread wheat. While durum wheat cultivar Yılmaz 98 had the highest grain protein content, bread wheat cultivar Gün 91 had the lowest grain protein content
