Actions against scientific research and publication ethics:
• Plagiarism: Presenting others' ideas, methods, data, applications, writings, figures or works as one's own work, partially or completely, without citing their owners in accordance with scientific rules,
• Forgery: Producing data that is not based on research, editing or changing a presented or published work based on false data, reporting or publishing these, presenting a research that was not conducted as if it was conducted,

Publication Ethics Policy
The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is a necessary building block for the development of a harmonious and respected knowledge network. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and shape the scientific method. Therefore, it is important for all parties involved in the publication, the author, the journal editor, the referee and the publishing organizations to agree on the standards of expected ethical behavior:
•Republication: Presenting multiple works containing the same results of a research as separate works in associate professorship exam evaluations and academic promotions,
• Slicing: Presenting the results of a research as separate works in associate professorship exam evaluations and academic promotions by inappropriately dividing them into pieces and publishing multiple publications without citing each other in a way that disrupts the integrity of the research,
• Unfair authorship: Including people who have no active contribution among the authors, not including people who have active contribution among the authors, changing the author order in an unjustified and inappropriate manner, removing the names of those who have actively contributed from the work during publication or in subsequent editions, using one's influence to have one's name included among the authors even though one has not actively contributed.
Other types of ethical violations:
a) Not indicating the supporting persons, institutions or organizations and their contributions in publications made as a result of research conducted with support,
b) Using theses or studies that have not yet been presented or defended and accepted as sources without the permission of the owner,
c) Not complying with ethical rules in research conducted on humans and animals, not respecting patient rights in publications,
ç) Acting contrary to the provisions of the relevant legislation in biomedical research and other clinical research involving humans,
d) Sharing information contained in a work that one has been assigned to review with others before publication without the explicit permission of the author,
e) Using resources, venues, facilities and devices provided or allocated for scientific research for purposes other than intended,
f) Making baseless, unfounded and intentional accusations of ethical violations,
g) Publishing data obtained in surveys and attitude surveys conducted within the scope of a scientific study without obtaining the explicit consent of the participants or, if the research is to be conducted in an institution, without obtaining the permission of the institution,
ğ) Harming animal health and ecological balance in research and experiments,
h) Not obtaining written permissions from authorized units that must be obtained before starting the studies in research and experiments,
ı) Conducting studies contrary to the provisions of the legislation or international agreements to which Türkiye is a party regarding relevant research and experiments in research and experiments,
i) Not complying with the obligation of researchers and authorities to inform and warn the relevant parties about possible harmful practices related to scientific research,
j) Not using data and information obtained from other persons and institutions in scientific studies to the extent and in the manner permitted, not respecting the confidentiality of this information and not ensuring its protection,
k) Making false or misleading statements regarding scientific research and publications in academic appointments and promotions (YÖK Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive, Article 4).
