Perspectives of Theology Faculty Students on Pedagogical Formation Courses
Abstract
Pedagogical formation education is an education that prepares higher education students for the teaching profession. Pedagogical formation education has been provided in various ways throughout the history of higher education in Turkey. Pedagogical formation training courses, which are among the elective courses in their latest form, need to be evaluated in order to be reflected in the teaching processes in the most efficient way.
The study was prepared to determine the perspectives of the faculty of theology students regarding the teaching profession and their perceptions of the quality, quantity and adequacy of pedagogical formation courses. Research data was collected through a survey and there are a total of 34 questions in the survey. The population of the research consists of students of Marmara University Faculty of Theology, Istanbul University Faculty of Theology and Istanbul 29 Mayıs University Faculty of Theology. In this regard, 288 students who were senior students and took pedagogical formation courses in the 2023-2024 academic year in the mentioned faculties participated in the research. As a result of the research, it was seen that the students were largely satisfied with the pedagogical formation education, and their demands for improving the practical dimension of the pedagogical formation education emerged.

آراء طلاب كلية الشريعة حول دورات التكوين التربوي
Öz
تعتبر التربية التكوينية تعليمًا يُعد طلاب التعليم العالي لمهنة التدريس. وقد تم توفير التربية التكوينية بطرق مختلفة على مدار تاريخ التعليم العالي في تركيا. يجب تقييم دورات التربية التكوينية، التي تُعتبر من الدورات الاختيارية في شكلها الأحدث، لكي تنعكس في عمليات التعليم بأكثر الطرق فعالية.
تم إعداد الدراسة لتحديد وجهات نظر طلاب كليه الشريعة حول مهنة التدريس وإدراكهم لجودة وكمية وكفاية دورات التربية التكوينية. تم جمع بيانات البحث من خلال استبيان يتضمن 34 سؤالًا. تتكون عينة البحث من طلاب كلية الشريعة بجامعة مرمرة، وكلية الشريعة بجامعة إسطنبول، وكلية الشريعة بجامعة 29 مايو في إسطنبول. وفي هذا الصدد، شارك 288 طالبًا من طلاب السنة النهائية الذين أخذوا دورات التربية التكوينية في العام الدراسي 2023-2024 في الكليات المذكورة في البحث. ونتيجةً للبحث، تبيّن أن الطلاب كانوا راضين إلى حد كبير عن التربية التكوينية، وظهرت مطالبهم لتحسين الجانب العملي من التربية التكوينية.

İlahiyat Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Pedagojik Formasyon Dersleriyle İlgili Görüşleri
Öz
Pedagojik formasyon eğitimi yükseköğretim öğrencilerini öğretmenlik mesleğine hazırlayan bir eğitimdir. Türkiye’de yükseköğretim tarihi süreci içerisinde pedagojik formasyon eğitimi çeşitli şekillerde verilmiştir. En son şekli ile seçmeli dersler arasında yer alan pedagojik formasyon eğitimi derslerinin en verimli şekilde öğretim süreçlerine yansıtılabilmesi için değerlendirilmesi gerekmektedir.
Yapılan çalışma ilahiyat fakültesi öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin bakış açılarını, pedagojik formasyon derslerinin niteliği, niceliği ve yeterliliğine yönelik algılarını tespit etmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma verileri anket aracılığıyla toplanmış olup ankette toplam 34 soru bulunmaktadır. Araştırmanının evrenini Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi, İstanbul Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi ve İstanbul 29 Mayıs Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda araştırmaya belirtilen fakültelerde 2023-2024 öğretim yılında pedagojik formasyon derslerini alan ve son sınıf öğrencisi olan 288 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin, pedagojik formasyon eğitiminden büyük bir oranla memnun oldukları görülmekle birlikte pedagojik formasyon eğitiminin uygulama boyutunun geliştirilmesi konusundaki talepleri ortaya çıkmıştır.
