Journal of Agricultural Machinery Science aims to publish research/compilation articles that were realized with interdisciplinary approaches which comply with academic standards and cover the subjects of agriculture, agricultural machinery, energy and technology after they were supported with detailed pre-examination and scientific review process to make them available for accessing of international researchers.

Tarım Makinaları Bilimi Dergisi Yayın İlkeleri
Tarım Makinaları Bilimi Dergisi yılda 3 kez yayınlanan hakemli bir dergidir. Sunulu veya poster bildiri dışında daha önce hiçbir yerde yayınlanmamış olan tarım, tarım makinaları, enerji ve teknoloji konularını kapsayan araştırma makaleleri ve derleme makalesi tarzı bilimsel çalışmalar değerlendirilip yayınlanmaktadır. Hazırlanmış olan çalışmalar Türkçe ya da İngilizce olarak kabul edilmektedir.

Hakem Önerisi
Dergimizde kayıt sırasında yazarlardan hakem önerisi alınmaktadır. Ancak bu durum, incelemenin önerilen hakemler tarafından yapılacağı anlamına gelmemektedir. Hakem önerilerinizde aynı kurumda çalışmıyor olmak, danışmanlık ve diğer çıkar ilişkisinin bulunmaması gibi etik ilkeleri gözetmenizi rica ederiz.

Kabul öncesinde hazırlanması gereken ön başvuru şablonları aşağıdadır. (Dergimizde kör hakemlik uygulaması olduğundan dolayı kabul öncesi başvuru dosyasında yazar isimleri belirtilmemelidir.)

4- Hakemlik Süreci Sonrası İşlemler
Yayınınızın düzelmelerini yaptıktan sonra 1. maddedeki "Yayının hakem süreci sonrasında kullanılacak şablonlar" kullanılarak yazar ve kurum içerecek şekilde sunulmalıdır.
Hakem önerileri doğrultusunda yapılan değişiklikler "Hakeme cevap dosyası" içerisinde yüklenmelidir. Bu dosyada hakemlerin önerdiği değişiklik ve düzelmeler doğrultusunda yapılan değişiklikler madde madde açıklanmalıdır.
Yayınınızın sonuna, şablonda yer aldığı gibi yazar biyografisi kısmı eklenmelidir.

The Journal of Agricultural Machinery Science is committed to the impartial and reputable development and dissemination of knowledge. During the publication process, it expects authors, readers, researchers, publishers, reviewers, and editors to comply with ethical guidelines. These stakeholders must pay attention to the general and specific ethical standards and responsibilities outlined below, based on the open-access guidelines published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

I. General Violations of Scientific Research and Publication Ethics

a) Plagiarism: Presenting others’ ideas, methods, data, practices, writings, figures, or works, in whole or in part, as one’s own without proper citation in accordance with scientific ethical principles.

b) Fabrication: Producing data not based on actual research, organizing or modifying submitted or published work based on fabricated data, reporting or publishing such work, or claiming to have conducted research that was not actually carried out.

c) Falsification: Distorting research records or obtained data, misrepresenting methods, devices, or materials not actually used as though they were used, excluding data that does not align with the research hypothesis, manipulating data or results to fit particular theories or assumptions, or shaping findings in line with the interests of supporting individuals or institutions.

d) Duplicate Publication: Presenting multiple works that contain the same research findings as separate publications in associate professorship evaluations or academic promotions.

e) Salami Publication: Fragmenting research results inappropriately in a way that undermines the integrity of the study and publishing them as multiple works without cross-referencing, particularly for academic evaluations, incentives, and promotions.

f) Unjust Authorship: Including individuals who made no active contribution as authors, excluding those who contributed significantly, altering the order of authorship without justification, removing names of contributors during or after publication, or using one’s influence to be added as an author despite having no actual involvement.

g) Other Types of Ethical Violations: Failing to acknowledge funding sources and their contributions in publications, non-compliance with ethical rules in research involving humans or animals, disrespecting patient rights in publications, sharing confidential information from manuscripts under review with others before publication, misusing research resources and facilities, or making entirely baseless, irrelevant, and intentional allegations of ethical misconduct (as outlined in Article 8 of the Higher Education Council's Directive on Scientific Research and Publication Ethics

II. Responsibilities of Stakeholders
1. Responsibilities of Authors

• All data presented in the manuscript must be real and original.

• Authors are obliged to correct any detected plagiarism, errors, or suspicious issues identified during preliminary or peer review. If not corrected, a consistent and justified explanation must be provided.

• The "References" section must be complete and prepared in accordance with the journal’s citation format.

• Plagiarism and fabricated data must be strictly avoided.

• The same manuscript must not be submitted to more than one journal.

2. Responsibilities of Reviewers

The editorial board commits to conducting and improving the peer-review process in accordance with ethical publishing standards. Stakeholders and readers who detect plagiarism, duplicate publication, errors, or suspicious content in reviews published in the Journal of Agricultural Machinery Science are encouraged to report them via email to taktas@nku.edu.tr. The obtained findings will be communicated to relevant parties and followed up. Reviewers are expected to adhere to the following principles:

• Reviews must be conducted impartially.

• There must be no conflict of interest between reviewers and stakeholders of the manuscript.

• Reviewers should indicate any missing references, sources, citations, or methodological gaps.

• In accordance with the double-blind peer-review system, information about manuscripts or reviewers must not be disclosed.

3. Responsibilities of Editors

• Editors are responsible and authorized to accept or reject manuscripts, and must exercise this responsibility in a timely and appropriate manner.

• Editors must avoid conflicts of interest with accepted or rejected articles.

• Editors should accept original research that contributes to the field.

• Editors must reject incomplete or erroneous manuscripts that do not comply with journal policies and standards, without being influenced by any external pressures.

• Editors should allow for the withdrawal or revision of problematic manuscripts either before or after peer review.

• Editors ensure that each manuscript is evaluated by at least two reviewers under a double-blind peer review process and that reviewer identities are kept confidential.

Editors use the “Turnitin” plagiarism detection software to verify that manuscripts are original and unpublished.

4. Plagiarism Policy

Each manuscript submitted to our journal is screened using the Turnitin plagiarism detection software. It is mandatory for editors, reviewers, and authors to comply with international publication ethics and the journal’s formatting rules.
