KOMPAKT VE KONVANSİYONEL RİNG İPLİKLERİNDEN DOKUNMUŞ PAMUKLU KUMAŞLARIN FARKLI TERBİYE İŞLEMLERİ SONRASI BONCUKLANMA ÖZELLİKLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Year 2006, Volume: 16 Issue: 2, 123 - 127, 01.12.2006

Abstract

COMPARISON OF PILLING PROPERTIES OF COTTON FABRICS WOVEN WITH COMPACT AND CONVENTIONAL RING SPUN YARNS AFTER SEVERAL FINISHING PROCESSES

Year 2006, Volume: 16 Issue: 2, 123 - 127, 01.12.2006

Abstract

In this study, plain, twill and satin woven fabrics were produced via using both 100 % cotton, compact and conventional ring spun yarns in two different yarn counts and two different yarn twists. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of different finishing processes such as singeing, mercerization, pigment printing, reactive printing and reactive dyeing on pilling tendency of woven fabrics, produced with compact and conventional ring spun yarns
