Abstract

Bu çalışmada, iplik işletmelerinde yaygın olarak kullanılmakta olan Uster Tester 4 (UT4) ve Zweigle G566 cihazlarından alınaniplik tüylülük test sonuçları arasındaki korelasyon hesaplanarak, aralarında lineer bir ilişki olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Böylece testcihazlarının herhangi birisinden alınan test sonuçlarına bakılarak, aynı iplik için tüylülüğün diğer cihaz sonuçlarında ne seviyedeolacağının tahmin edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, Zweigle (S3) ile Uster indeks (HU) ve Zweigle indeks (HZ) ile Uster indeks(HU) değerleri arasındaki korelasyonlar belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, ring iplikler için Zwiegle G 566 ve UT4 tüylülüksonuçları arasında lineer bir ilişki kurmak zor iken, OE-rotor iplikler için her iki cihaz sonuçları arasında lineer ilişki kurmanınmümkün olduğu tespit edilmiştir

AN INVESTIGATION OF THE CORRELATION BETWEEN DIFFERENT YARN HAIRINESS PARAMETERS

Abstract

In this paper, the correlation between the yarn hairiness results of the Uster Tester 4 and Zweigle G 566 testers are determined toevaluate any linear relation between them. Therefore, it was aimed to estimate the hairiness level of the same yarn at other hairinessinstruments by looking the hairiness value obtained from any hairiness instrument. For this aim, the correlations between the Zweigle(S3) and UT4 index (HU) as well as Zweigle hairiness index (HZ) and UT4 hairiness index (HU) parameters are calculated. Resultsshow that there is no linear relation between the hairiness results of Zweigle G566 and UT4 for combed ring yarns while there is a goodcorrelation for OE-rotor spun yarns
