Osteopetrozis: Olgu sunumu ve yeni gelişmeler

Öz

Amaç: Osteopetrozis, kemik rezorpsiyon kusuru nedeniyle oluşan; yaygın kemik sklerozuyla karakterize kalıtımsal bir hastalıktır. Günümüzde kemik iliği transplantasyonuyla sağaltılabilmektedir. En az görülen bir hastalık olması nedeniyle bir osteopetrozis konjenita olgusu, ilgili kaynaklar eşliğinde sunulmuş ve sağaltımındaki güncel gelişmeler irdelenmiştir. Olgu: Solunum sıkıntısı, solukluk, büyüme ve gelişme geriliği yakınılması ile hastanemize başvuran 7 aylık kız olguda makrosefali, pansitopeni, hepatosplenomegali ve bronkopnomoni saptanmıştır. Kemik iliği biyopsisinde galy, pancytopenia, and bronchopneumonia were deterizlenen histopatolojik özellikler, radyolojik bulgular ve aile mined. Histopathological features of trephine bone öyküsü ışığında tanı konan olguda, sağaltımla akciğer enfeksiyonu iyileşmiştir. Aile hastalıkla ilgili bilgilendirilmiş, kemik iliği transplantasyonu önerilerek hasta taburcu edilmiştir

Osteopetrosis; Report of a case and recent developments

Abstract

Aim: Osteopetrosis is a rare inherited disease characterized by the failure of osteoclast function and impairment of bone resorption; resulting in generalize osteosclerosis. The current treatment of the disease is bone marrow transplantation for restoration of bone remodeling. Since it is an uncommon disorder, we report herein a case of osteopetrosis congenita and review the literature.
