Magnetoterapi ve ultrason uygulamalarının deneysel ağrı üzerine etkilerinin karşılaştırılması: tek kör klinik çalışma

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı sağlıklı bireylerde magnetoterapi ve ultrason uygulamalarının deneysel ağrı eşiği ve toleransı üzerindeki etkinliğinin belirlenmesiydi. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmaya, yaş ortalamaları 21.45±1.27 yıl olan toplam 40 sağlıklı birey (21 kadın ve 19 erkek) alındı. Tek körlü olarak planlanan çalışmada, modalite uygulamaları ve ölçümler farklı araştırmacılar tarafından yapıldı. Ağrı, deneysel ağrı yöntemlerinden ağrı eşiği ve toleransı ile, radius distal uçtan ölçümle değerlendirildi. Ağrı eşiği ve toleransı ölçümü, ultrason ve magnetoterapi uygulamalarından önce ve sonra yapıldı. Ultrason ve magnetoterapi uygulamaları birbirini takip eden günlerde önkol volar yüz distaline, herhangi bir sıra takip edilmeden yapıldı. Ultrason tedavisi tam temas tekniği ile 5 dakika süreyle, magnetoterapi ise longitudinal yerleşimle 20 dakika uygulandı. Sonuçlar: Ultrason ve magnetoterapi uygulamalarının ağrı eşiği ve toleransı değerlerini anlamlı olarak arttırdığı görüldü (p0.05). Tartışma: Ultrason ve magnetoterapi, doku iyileşmesine ek olarak analjezi amacıyla da kullanılabilir. Modalitelerin birbirlerine göre üstünlük göstermemesi, klinik kullanımda kolay ulaşılabilir modalitenin seçilmesi için yönlendirici olabilir
