Abstract

Ehrlichiosis; küçük, pleomorfik, mononükleer veya polimorf nükleer lökositlerin sitoplazmik fagozomlarında parazit olarak yaşayan bakterilerin obligat intrasellüler yol açtığı bir hastalıktır. Etken Ehrlichia genusunun bir üyesidir; takım Ehrlichia, aile Ricketsiaceae’dır 1 . Rickettsiales alt sınıfında üç familya vardır: Rickettsiaceae, B a r t o n e l l a c e a e, A n a p l a s m a t a c e a e. R i c k e t t s i - aceae familyası da üç takım içerir: Ricketsiacea, Ehrlichieae, Wolbachieae.
