Daily drinking water intake and some dietary behaviors of adolescents in Corum city

Abstract

Objective: This study was conducted to evaluate the daily water consumption and some dietary behaviors of adolescents in Çorum city.Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted between March-June 2019 in Çorum with the participation of 1125 adolescents from three high schools selected by stratified random sampling method. Data were collected via a questionnaire that questioned the socio-demographic characteristics, daily water consumption, dietary patterns, heights and weights of adolescents. Çorum ilinde adolesanların günlük içme suyu tüketimi ve bazı beslenme alışkanlıklarıyla ilişkisi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma, Çorum ilinde adolesanların günlük içme suyu tüketimini ve bazı beslenme alışkanlıklarıyla ilişkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Yöntem: Kesitsel türdeki bu çalışma, MartHaziran 2019 tarihleri arasında Çorum ilinde tabakalı rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen üç liseden 1125 adolesanın katılımıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri adolesanların sosyo-demografik özelliklerinin, günlük su tüketiminin, beslenme alışkanlıklarını, boylarının ve kilolarının sorgulandığı bir anket formu aracılığı ile toplanmıştır.
