Genç Popülasyonda Vestibüler Schwannoma: Olgu Raporu ve Literatür Taraması

Abstract

Vestibüler Schwannoma, vestibülo-koklear sinir myelin kılıfından köken alan, benign ve genellikle yavaş büyüyen bir tümördür. Hastaların önemli bir kısmı erken dönemde unilateral işitme kaybı, tinnitus ve vertigodan yakınmaktadır. Tümörün büyüklüğü ve lokalizasyonuna göre yakınmalar değişiklik göstermektedir. Tanıda görüntüleme yöntemleri ile odyolojik değerlendirmeler önemli rol oynamaktadır. Hastaların semptomları, tedavi seçenek tercihleri, tümör büyüme hızı ve lokalizasyonu gibi faktörlere göre gözlem, cerrahi tedavi ve stereotaktik radyoterapi tedavi süreçlerinde yer alabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, VS tanısı almış bir hastanın tanılama süreçleri, odyolojik değerlendirme ve Manyetik Rezonans Görüntüleme sonuçları kaynaklar ışığında tartışılmıştır.
