Turkish Journal of Clinics and Laboratory
Information on the standard requirements for manuscripts submitted to medical journals can be found on the website www.icmje.org
.
Aim and Scope:
The Turkish Journal of Clinics and Laboratory is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and periodically published journal owned by DNT Middle East Publishing Inc. Our aim is to publish high-quality scientific articles that include innovations in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases on an international platform. It is a scientific medical journal published four times a year.
As a peer-reviewed journal, submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by consultants in terms of compliance with the common standards defined by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) for biomedical manuscripts (available at www.icmje.org).
The journal publishes retrospective/prospective clinical and laboratory studies, interesting case reports, invited reviews, letters to the editor, original images, short reports, and surgical technique articles in all fields of medicine. Manuscripts that have been published elsewhere or are under review in another journal, or that are not prepared according to the journal’s guidelines, will not be accepted for evaluation.
Online Manuscript Submission:
All correspondence and manuscript submissions must be made via DergiPark at https://dergipark.org.tr/tjcl. Detailed submission information can be obtained from this website. A unique number will be assigned to each submitted manuscript, and confirmation of receipt will be sent via email. Full-text PDF versions of published articles are available on this page.
Open Access Policy:
The Turkish Journal of Clinics and Laboratory is an open-access journal. Users can access full-text articles freely and use them in scientific studies with proper citation.
The following guidelines outline the standards required for manuscripts submitted to the journal. This international format will facilitate faster evaluation and publication processes.

Turk J Clin Lab
Correspondence Address:
Manuscripts must be submitted by the corresponding author via DergiPark after registering at the Turkish Journal of Clinics and Laboratory page.
Language of the Manuscript:
Manuscripts can be submitted in Turkish or English. English manuscripts must be reviewed by a professional language editor before submission. For Turkish manuscripts, proper use of the Turkish language is essential, following the Turkish Language Association (TDK) dictionary and spelling guide.
Statement of Originality:
Each author must state in the cover letter that the manuscript, in whole or in part, has not been published elsewhere and is not currently under review in another journal. Abstracts shorter than 400 words are excluded from this rule. If the work was previously presented at a conference as an oral or poster presentation, this must be indicated on the title page with the name, location, and date of the conference. All ethical, scientific, and legal responsibility belongs to the authors.
Evaluation Process:
Submitted manuscripts are evaluated for format and plagiarism. Manuscripts that do not comply with the format will be returned without review. To avoid delays, authors should carefully follow the writing guidelines.
All manuscripts submitted for publication are reviewed by at least two national or international referees. Acceptance is based on scientific importance and originality. Accepted manuscripts may be edited by the editorial board without altering the content. After submission or acceptance, the order of authors cannot be changed, and no authors can be added or removed.
Acceptance for Publication:
Once approved by the editor and referees, manuscripts are scheduled for publication based on the submission date. Each article will be assigned a DOI number.
