Abstract

Ürünlerin hasar veya kayıp olmadan taşınmasını sağlamak, tedarik zinciri boyunca değerlerini korumak esastır. Taşımacılık sırasında hasarı ve kayıpları önlemek için ürünlerin güvence altına alınması gerekmektedir. Ürünlerin emniyetini ve güvenliğini sağlamada, sürdürülebilirlik ekseninde operasyonel mükemmelliği de sağlayacak bir lashing hizmet sağlayıcısının seçilmesi, ürünlerin güvenli ve emniyetli taşınması için çok önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, taşımacılıkta ürün güvenliği için sürdürülebilir bir lashing hizmet sağlayıcısının seçilmesinde bir karar destek sistemi oluşturmaktır. Bu amaçla, ilk aşamada literatür taramasına göre kriterler belirlenmiş, kriterler SWARA yöntemi ile ağırlıklandırılmış ve MAUT yöntemi ile dört alternatif firma arasından bir lashing hizmet sağlayıcısı seçimi yapılmıştır. Kriter ağırlıklandırmasında en önemli ana kriter operasyonel mükemmellik olmuş, bunu ekonomik, sosyal ve çevresel sürdürülebilirlik ana kriterleri takip etmiştir. Ekonomik sürdürülebilirliğin alt kriterleri olan lojistik maliyetleri ve fiyatları en yüksek ağırlığa sahip kriter olmuştur. Alternatif seçiminde birincil tercih olarak Alternatif 1 lashing şirketi olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın, sektördeki karar vericilere bütünleşik SWARA-MAUT yaklaşımıyla rehberlik etmesi umulmaktadır.

LASHING SERVICE PROVIDER SELECTION FOR CARGO SAFETY IN TRANSPORTATION

Abstract

Ensuring that the goods are transported without damage or loss is essential to preserve their value throughout the supply chain. It is necessary to secure the goods to prevent damage during transportation. In ensuring the safety and security of goods, selecting a lashing service provider that will also provide operational excellence in the sustainability axis is essential for the safe and secure transportation of goods. The aim of this study is to create a decision support system in selecting a sustainable lashing service provider for goods security in transportation. In this purpose, criteria were determined according to literature review in the first stage, the criteria were weighted by SWARA method, and a lashing service provider selection was made from four alternatives by MAUT method. The most important main criterion in the criteria weighing was operational excellence, followed by the main criteria of economic, social and environmental sustainability. Logistics costs and prices, which is sub-criteria of economic sustainability, is the criteria with the highest weight. Alternative 1 lashing company was determined as the primary choice in alternative selection. It is hoped that the study will guide decision makers in the sector with the integrated SWARA-MAUT approach.
