KAN TRANSFÜZYONUNA BAĞLI KARDİYAK ARREST: OLGU SUNUMU

Abstract

Kan transfüzyonu akut veya kronik kanama sonrası dokulara yeterli oksijen sunumunun sağlanması amacı ile uygulanan bir tedavi şeklidir. Ancak kan ürünü transfüzyonuna bağlı reaksiyonlar gelişebilmektedir. Bu reaksiyonlar akut ve gecikmiş reaksiyonlar olarak ikiye ayrılır. Akut reaksiyonlardan başlıcaları alerjik, febril nonhemolitik, akut hemolitik ve anafilaktik reaksiyonlardır (1). Bu yazıda cerrahi sırasında akut kanama nedeni ile kan transfüzyonuna bağlı kardiyak arrest gelişen bir hasta sunulmaktadır.

CARDIAC ARREST DUE TO BLOOD TRANSFUSION: A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Blood transfusion is a form of treatment administered to ensure adequate oxygen delivery to tissues following acute or chronic hemorrhage. However, reactions related to blood product transfusion can occur. These reactions are broadly classified into acute and delayed reactions. The principal acute reactions include allergic, febrile non-hemolytic, acute hemolytic, and anaphylactic reactions (1). This article presents a patient who developed cardiac arrest secondary to blood transfusion due to acute hemorrhage during surgery.
