Abstract

Complete heart block is a serious cardiovascular condition that arises as a result of a problem in the heart’s electrical conduction system. In this condition, the transmission between the atria and ventricles of the heart is completely blocked, preventing regular heartbeats. Complete heart block is typically observed in elderly individuals, those at risk of heart disease, or individuals experiencing advanced heart block(1). In this case presentation, the diagnosis and treatment process of a patient with complete heart block are discussed.

TAM KALP BLOĞU ÖLDÜRÜR MÜ?

Abstract

Tam kalp bloğu, kalbin elektriksel iletim sisteminin bir problemi sonucu ortaya çıkan ciddi bir kardiyovasküler durumdur. Bu durumda, kalbin atriyum ve ventrükülleri arasındaki iletim tamamen engellenir, bu da kalp atışlarının düzenli bir şekilde gerçekleşmesini engeller. Tam kalp bloğu genellikle yaşlı bireylerde, kalp hastalığı riski taşıyanlarda veya ileri derecede kalp bloğu yaşayanlarda görülür(1). Bu olgu sunumunda, tam kalp bloğu gelişen bir hastanın tanı ve tedavi süreci ele alındı.
