Abstract

Üsküf, Osmanlı toplumunda değişik alanlarda kullanılan ve çeşitli özellik-leriyle şiire yansıyan bir başlık türüdür. Burada, üsküfün genel bir tanımından sonra, klâsik Türk şiirindeki kullanımının ana hatları çizilmiş, nazire geleneği çerçevesinde yazılmış üsküf redifli on beş gazelin metin yayımı yapılmış ve bu gazellerde geçen kelimelerden seçme bir sözlük hazırlanmıştır. Böylece, üsküfün klâsik Türk şiirinde nasıl işlendiği açıklanmağa çalışılmıştır.

Abstract

“Üsküf is a title commonly use in varios fields and with its number of features reflects in a poem. This survey after giving the general definition of “Üsküf” points out the main frameworks. It also holds the texts of fifteen ghazels with the rhyme “üsküf” and a small dictionary made of selected words from the texts.By doing this, it tries to explain the usage of “üsküf” within the classical Turkish poetry.
