Abstract
Bu makalede XV. yüzyıl sonu XVI. yüzyıl başlarında yaşamış olanFirdevsî Firdevsî-i Rûmî, Firdevsî-i Tavîl ’nin kısaca hayatı ve eserlerihakkında bilgi verilmiş ve Süleymanname'nin 81.cildinde ki ikilemelerincelenmiştir. Süleymânnâme-i Kebîr Firdevsî-i Rûmî tarafından yazılmışolup Süleyman Peygamber’in hayatını ve menkıbelerini anlatanansiklopedik mahiyette bir eserdir. Eser ayrıca doğu mitolojisi, diğer peygamberkıssaları, tarih, hikmet, hendese, nücum, coğrafya ve tıbba ait çeşitlikonuları içerir. Anlatımı sade, ilgi çekici ve canlı üslup taşımaktadır. Eserlerindekiakıcılığı sahip olduğu zengin söz varlığı sağlamaktadır. Süleymânnâme’ninele aldığımız 81. cildinde yer alan ikilemeler, dönemineait kelime ve kalıplaşmış yapıları hakkında bilgi sahibi olmamızı sağlar.

Abstract
This article gives a brief information about the life and the works of Firdevsî Firdevsî-i Rûmî, Firdevsî-i Tavîl who has lived within the ends of the 15th tillthe beginnings of the 16th century and the hendiadyses found in Süleymânnâme’s81st volume have been reviewed. Süleymânnâme-i Kebîr was written by Firdevsî-iRûmî as a work of an encyclopedic nature narrating the life and tales of ProphetSoliman. In addition, this work features topics about eastern mythologies, tales ofother prophets, history, wisdom, geometry, astronomy, geography and medicine. Theauthor uses such a plain, interesting and lively fashion of expression in this work.His rich use of vocabulary facilitates the fluency in his works.The hendiadyses whichtake place in Süleymânnâme vol.81 enable us to have some idea about the wordsand the stereotyped structures of that period.
