Abstract

In this book review, the work “Spiritual Care and Counseling Psychology: Concept, Theory and Practices” written by Ömer Faruk Söylev, was analyzed. This study is based on the researcher's doctoral thesis. The critique of the work, which starts by giving biographical information about the author, continues by considering the main sections. At the end of the study, in which the theoretical frame work including the concepts, theories and methods, as well as the sections on the application areas and possibilities of spiritual counseling and guidance in Turkey, were examined, the strengths, weaknesses and improvements of the book were mentioned.

Manevi Bakım ve Danışma Psikolojisi: Kavram, Kuram ve Uygulamalar

Abstract

Bu kitap incelemesinde, Ömer Faruk Söylev tarafından yazılan “Manevi Bakım ve Danışma Psikolojisi: Kavram, Kuram ve Uygulamalar” isimli eser analiz edilmiştir. Bu çalışma, araştırmacının doktora tezine dayanmaktadır. Yazar hakkında biyografik bilgi verilerek başlanan eser kritiğine, temel bölümler dikkate alınarak devam edilmiştir. Kavram, kuram ve yöntemlerin yer aldığı teorik çerçevenin yanı sıra Türkiye’deki manevi danışmanlık ve rehberliğin uygulama alanlarının ve imkânlarının yer aldığı bölümlere ilişkin detaylı incelemenin yapıldığı çalışmanın sonunda kitabın güçlü, zayıf ve geliştirilebilir yönlerine değinilmiştir.
