Abstract

Within the scope of this study, Erol Göka’s book named Psychology Existence Spirituality was examined. The author sees existentialism as a strong objection to modernity, capitalism, positivist understanding of science and human alienation. Starting from this basis, he tries to bring a spirituality-centered perspective to human psychology and existence with his view that he defines as an “existential-dynamic approach”. It is aimed to contribute to the field by examining this book, which is a sign for those who are interested in the psychological sciences.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Erol Göka’nın Psikoloji Varoluş Maneviyat isimli kitabı incelenmiştir. Yazar varoluşçuluğu; modernliğe, kapitalizme, pozitivist bilim anlayışına ve insana yabancılaşmasına güçlü bir itiraz olarak görmektedir. Bu temelden yola çıkarak, “varoluşçu-dinamik yaklaşım” olarak tanımladığı görüşüyle, insan psikolojisine ve varoluşuna maneviyat merkezli bir bakış açısı getirmeye çalışmaktadır. Psikolojik bilimlerle ilgilenenler için bir işaret levhası niteliğindeki bu kitap incelenerek alana katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır.
