Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi 1. Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Kardiyovasküler Performanslarının Kardiyovasküler Uyum Testi (Schneider Testi ) İle Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Tıp Fakültesi 1. sınıf öğrencilerine Kardiyovasküler Uyum Testi yapılarak aerobik kapasiteleri hakkında bilgi edinilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada 20 kız 20 erkek öğrenci yer almıştır. Scheneider egzersiz testi yapılarak kardiyovasküler sistemleri kötü, orta, iyi ve çok iyi olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Kardiyovasküler uyum testi değerlendirmesinde, 20 kız ve 20 erkek öğrencinin yarısından fazlasının test sonuçları kötü puan aralığında yer alırken, diğer yarısı ancak orta puan aralığında yer almıştır. İyi ve çok iyi puanlara ulaşan yoktur. Kız ve erkek gruplar arasında test sonuçları açısından farklılık bulunmamıştır. Bu test sonuçları, çok çarpıcı şekilde gençlerin sedanter yaşam tarzlarına işaret etmektedir. Fiziksel aktivite yapmayan gençlerimizin ileriki yaşamlarında gerek metabolik gerekse ruhsal ve nörolojik bir takım hastalıklarla karşılaşma riski yüksektir.

Evaluation of Cardiovascular Performances of Eskisehir Osmangazi University First Year Medical Students With Schneider Test

Abstract

We investigated the aerobic capacity of first year medical faculty students by cardiovascular performance test (Schneider test). The study included 20 female and 20 male medical students. Schneider test results of the subjects were evaluated as poor, medium, good and very good. We have found that the half of 20 female and 20 male students had bad score range and the other half of the students had the middle score range. There were no student in good and very good scores. There is no statistical difference between the female and male students in the cardiovascular performance test scores. The present study strikingly indicate that young people had physically inactive lifestyle. Thus, Young people has high risk of metabolic, mental and neurolgical diseases in the future.
