THE EFFECT OF COLOGRAPHY PRINTING TECHNIQUE ON DESIGN AND SUSTAINABILITY IN ART

Abstract

Art has been an important tool that carries people's feelings, thoughts, social structure, cultural values and many interactions throughout history to the present day. Painting has created a language for societies to express themselves. The printmaking technique, which is closely related to painting, has developed over time and has shown itself in the form of expression in question. In this context, the features of the colloquial printing technique, which is a technique within printmaking, such as both the sustainable effect of material use and its innovativeness in terms of design-oriented studies, make it a technique that can be used in every period. This study emphasizes the effect of the colloquial printing technique on design and sustainability. The article states that printmaking techniques have an important place in the development of painting and that printmaking enables art to reach wider audiences. The colloquial printing technique provides sustainability to the artistic production process by using environmentally friendly materials and makes aesthetic contributions to design. Colloquial offers artists the opportunity to create different textures and layers, while also helping to increase environmental awareness. The colloquial printing technique, which is the subject of the study with all these aspects, is explained with examples, and its effect on design and sustainability within the framework of art is examined. In this context, the creative possibilities and environmentally conscious approach offered by collagraphy make it a contemporary means of expression that aligns with today’s artistic understanding. Furthermore, through the collagraph printmaking technique, artists are able to produce content that is rich both aesthetically and functionally, thereby contributing to the intersection of art with social and environmental responsibility.

KOLOGRAFİ BASKI TEKNİĞİNİN SANATTA TASARIM VE SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİK ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Abstract

Sanat, insanların duygularını, düşüncelerini, toplum yapısını, kültürel değerlerini ve birçok etkileşimi tarih boyunca günümüze taşıyan önemli bir araç olmuştur. Resim sanatı toplumların kendini anlatmasında bir dil oluşturmuştur. Resim sanatıyla yakın ilişkili baskıresim tekniği zamanla gelişim göstererek söz konusu ifade biçiminin içinde kendini göstermiştir. Bu bağlamda baskıresmin içinde bir teknik olarak yer alan kolografi baskı tekniğinin gerek malzeme kullanımının sürdürülebilir etkide olması gerekse tasarım odaklı çalışmalar bakımından yenilikçi olması gibi özellikleri onu her dönem başvurulabilecek bir teknik yapmaktadır. Bu çalışmada kolografi baskı tekniğinin, tasarım ve sürdürülebilirlik üzerine olan etkisi vurgulanmaktadır. Makalede, resim sanatının gelişiminde baskıresim tekniklerinin önemli bir yeri olduğu ve baskıresmin, sanatın daha geniş kitlelere ulaşmasını sağladığı ifade edilmektedir. Kolografi baskı tekniği, çevre dostu malzemeler kullanarak sanatsal üretim sürecine sürdürülebilirlik kazandırmakta ve tasarıma estetik katkılarda bulunmaktadır. Kolografi, sanatçılara farklı dokular ve katmanlar oluşturma imkânı sunarken, çevre bilincinin artmasına da yardımcı olmaktadır. Tüm bu yönleriyle çalışmanın konusu olan kolografi baskı tekniği örneklerle açıklanmış, sanat çerçevesinde tasarıma ve sürdürülebilirliğe etkisi irdelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, kolografinin sunduğu yaratıcı olanaklar ve çevreye duyarlı yaklaşımı, onu günümüz sanat anlayışıyla örtüşen çağdaş bir ifade aracı hâline getirmektedir. Ayrıca, kolografi baskı tekniği sayesinde sanatçılar hem estetik hem de işlevsel açıdan zengin içerikler üreterek sanatın toplumsal ve çevresel sorumlulukla buluşmasına katkı sağlamaktadır.
