Aşırı Turizm ve Sosyal Etkileri

Abstract

Turizm günümüzde önemli sektörlerden birisisidir. Özellikle küreselleşme ile birlikte iletişim araçlarının artış göstermesi ve kolaylığı sayesinde turistik destinasyonlar daha da önem kazanmıştır. Turizm ve turist hareketlerinde yaşanan hareketlilik özellikle Avrupa’da aşırı kalabalıklara sebep olmuştur. Aşırı turizm sosyal politikaların çökmesine ve aşırı turizme maruz kalan yerli halkların mağduriyetlerine neden olmuş ve bunun sonucunda da turist ve turizm karşıtı hareketler oluşmaya başlamıştır. Bu makalede aşırı turizm kavramı incelenecek ve etkileri anlatılacaktır.

Overtourism and its social impacts

Abstract

Tourism is one of the important sectors today. Especially with the increase and ease of communication tools with globalization, tourist destinations have become even more important. The mobility experienced in tourism and tourist movements has caused overcrowding, especially in Europe. Overtourism has caused the collapse of social policies and the victimization of local people exposed to overtourism, and as a result, anti-tourist and anti-tourist movements have begun to emerge. In this article, the concept of overtourism will be examined and its effects will be explained.
