Abstract
As an underlying brain dysfunction has been shown in an increasing number of cases of mental retardation autism and language disturbance pediatric neurology has been a field of growing attraction nbsp; Due to the enormous development in the new imaging techniques and laboratory analyses it has been possible to show an organic lesion in many of those cases In such a field where our country is not so backward in comparison to the developed countries the integration of various studies and cooperation of people from different disciplines are necessary for a better management of mentally handicapped people So many of those people expect the consequences of such a fruitful attemp Key words: Mental Retardation Behavioral Neurology Brain Dysfunction
