Abstract

A six years old girl that had been followed up for about two years with diagnosis of epilepsy had a color discoloration and depression that has first appeared one year ego and than progressed on her right frontal and mental region These findings are described as ‘’en coup de sabre’’ a rare form of linear scleroderma localized at frontoparietal region of the scalp and face This case reported because of it has presented with epileptic seizures that started one year before onset of the lesion of linear scleroderma and associating intracrannial calcifications Key words: en coup de sabre scleroderma epilepsy child intracrannial calcification

Abstract

İki yıldır epilepsi nedeniyle takip edilen altı yaşındaki kız çocuğunda bir yıl önce beliren sağ frontal ve mental bölgede lokalize giderek artan çöküntü ve renk değişikliği mevcuttu Hastanın bilgisayarlı beyin tomografisinde intrakranyal kalsifikasyonlar saptandı Bu bulgular lineer sklerodermanın yüz ve saçlı derinin frontoparietal bölümünde lokalize nadir görülen bir formu olan “en coup de sabre scleroderma” olarak tanımlandı Bu olgu lineer skleroderma lezyonu gelişmeden bir yıl önce epilepsi nöbetlerinin başlaması eşlik eden intrakranyal kalsifikasyonlarının saptanması nedeniyle sunulmuştur Anahtar Kelimeler: en coup de sabre scleroderma epilepsi çocuk intrakranyal kalsifikasyon
