AZERBAYCAN’IN YERALTISULARINDA ESER ELEMENT KONSANTRASYONLARI VE FLORÜR SEVİYESİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Azerbaycan yeraltı sularında çeşitli eser element konsantrasyonları ölçülmüş ve florür seviyesi değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada Azerbaycan’daki yeraltı su kaynakları; kuyular, kaynak suları ve artezyenler olmak üzere sınıflandırılmış ve her bölgede bu kaynaklarda toplam 7 adet eser elementin konsantrasyonu ölçülmüştür. Ölçümü yapılan bu eser elementler florür, iyodür, mangan, kobalt, bakır, çinko ve molibdendir. Bu eser elementlerin konsantrasyonlarının ortalama değerleri alınarak TS 266 (Türk Standartları), WHO (World Health Organization), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) ve Kanada tarafından belirlenen “içme sularında maksimum izin verilebilir konsantrasyonlar” ile karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonuçlarında flor konsantrasyonlarının maksimum izin verilebilir konsantrasyonu aştığı belirlenmiş ve bunun neden ve sonuçları üzerinde durularak alınması gereken önlemler belirtilmiştir.

TRACE ELEMENT CONCENTRATIONS IN GROUNDWATERS IN AZERBAIJAN AND ASSESSMENT OF FLUORIDE CONCENTRATION

Abstract

In this study trace element concentration of groundwater in Azerbaijan was measured and the fluoride concentration was assessed. The groundwater sources in Azerbaijan were classified as well waters, springs and artesian wells and the concentration of 7 trace elements in these sources was determined. The trace elements determined were fluoride, iodide, manganese, cobalt, copper, zinc and molybdenum. The mean values of trace elements concentrations were evaluated considering TS 266, WHO, EPA and Canada’s standards of “maximum permissible values in drinking waters”. In the conclusion of the study fluoride concentrations in some groundwaters were high. Because of this, the reasons and results of this situation and the prevention methods were discussed.
