ÇİFTLEŞME VE PARAZİTLEME SÜRELERİ İLE KONUKÇU YUMURTA KÜMESİ BÜYÜKLÜĞÜNÜN Trissolcus semistriatus Nees (Hymenoptera, Scelionidae)’ un CİNSİYET ORANI ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Abstract

Konukçu kümesi büyüklüğü (Eurygaster integriceps Put. yumurta kümesi), çiftleşme ve parazitleme sürelerinin, Trissolcus semistriatu Nees’ un cinsiyet ve parazitleme oranı üzerine etkileri laboratuvar koşullarında incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları parazitizm ve cinsiyet oranlarının, yumurta kümesi büyüklüğü ve parazitlenme süresi ile önemli olarak değişmediğini göstermiştir. Bununla birlikte, bu oranlar artan çiftleşme süresi ile azalmıştır. Parazitlenme ve cinsiyet oranı için en düşük değerler, sırasıyla, %54.50 ve 0.48 olarak 3 günlük çiftleşme süresinde elde edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, T. semistriatus’ un kitle üretiminde 1 günlük çiftleşme sonrasında bir dişinin parazitlemesi için 12-24 adetlik yumurta kümesine 24 saat süresince bırakılması önerilmiştir.

EFFECT OF MATING AND PARASITISM PERIOD AND HOST EGG MASS SIZE ON SEX RATIO OF Trissolcus semistriatus NEES

Abstract

The influence of the size of host patch (Eurygaster integriceps Put. egg mass size), mating and parasitism period on the sex ratio and parasitism rate of Trissolcus semistriatus Nees was investigated under laboratory conditions. The results showed that the parasitism rate and sex ratio did not significantly change depending on egg mass size and parasitism period. However, these rates decreased with increasing mating period. The lowest values for parasitism rate and sex ratio, were recorded as 54.50 % and 0.48, respectively, at a mating period of 3 days. In conclusion, it was suggested that an egg mass of 12-24 eggs was exposed to one female during 24 hours for parasitism after 1 day of mating period for mass production of T. semistriatus.
