A case of sinonasal lymphoma

Year 2002, Volume: 9 Issue: 6, 425 - 428, 20.12.2002

Abstract

Sinonasal lymphoma is a rare disease that poses diffi- culties in diagnosis. A fifty-year-old male patient pre- sented with a mass in the nasal vestibulum that destroyed the left nasal ala. Nocardiosis was consid- ered in the light of the initial biopsy findings; however, microbiologic studies were not consistent with pathologic examination. A subsequent biopsy was obtained, which resulted in the diagnosis of peripheral T-cell lym phoma. Following the diagnosis, the patient was referred to the oncology clinic to receive chemotherapy. He died during the second course of chemotherapy.

Sinonazal lenfoma: Olgu sunumu

Year 2002, Volume: 9 Issue: 6, 425 - 428, 20.12.2002
