14. GEBELİK HAFTASINDA TESPİT EDİLEN KOLON KAYNAKLI KRUKENBERG TÜMÖRÜ, DEVAM EDEN GEBELİK

Abstract

Gebelikle birlikte krukenberg tümörü nadir görülmekle birlikte teşhisi oldukça zor ve kötü prognozludur. Bu yazıda, nadir görülen bu duruma klinisyenlerin dikkatini çekmek amacıyla, 14. gebelik haftasında krukenberg tümörü tanısı almış, cerrahi ve kemoterapi ile gebeliğin devamı sağlamış bir olgu sunulmaktadır. İlk trimester ultrasonografisinde uterus ve fetüsün yanısıra adnekslerin de değerlendirilmesi ve şüpheli lezyonların sık takip edilmesi erken tanıya varılmasında büyük önem taşımaktadır.

Abstract

Krukenberg tumor during pregnancy is seldom seen, however is hard to diagnose and the prognosis is poor. Gastrointestinal System Tumors has primal symptoms of nausea, gastrodynia, indigestion, constipation and vomiting; all of which can easily be related to pregnancy. Hence it is very hard to early diagnose these tumors when they are seen during the pregnancy. Moreover abdominal distension caused by the growing fetus may veil the intraabdominal tumors and the diagnosis will be delayed. This paper presents a case of Krukenberg tumor diagnosed at 14 weeks gestational age, after which the pregnancy was allowed to continue after the removal of the tumor and followed by chemotherapy treatment. Adnexes should be assessed closely like uterus and fetus, and suspicious lesions has to be observed frequently at the first trimester ultrasonography to prognose the tumors at earlier stages.
