VULVANIN GRANÜLER HÜCRELİ TÜMÖRÜ: OLGU SUNUMU VE LİTERATÜRÜN GÖZDEN GEÇİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Granüler hücreli tümörler, deride Schwann hücrelerinden geliştiği düşünülen ve oldukça ender görülen lezyonlardır. En sık başboyun bölgesinde görülmekle birlikte, %5.3 oranında vulvar bölgede saptanabilirler. Olguların büyük çoğunluğu benign olmasına rağmen, makroskopik olarak bu tümörlerin sınırları belirgin değildir ve çevre dokulara yapışıklık gösterebilirler. Nadir olarak malign transformasyon bildirilmiştir. Ayrıca bu hastalarda nüks de oldukça sık görülür. Bu olgu sunumunda, 59 yaşında daha önce meme karsinomu nedeniyle unilateral mastektomi operasyonu geçirmiş olan hastada gelişen vulvar granüler hücreli tümör güncel tedavi yaklaşımları ile birlikte tartışılacaktır.

GRANULER CELL TUMOR OF VULVA: A CASE REPORT AND REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

Abstract

Granular cell tumors are unusual neoplasms presumably derived from Schwann cells. These tumors are mostly seen in head and neck area and 5.3%of cases are localized in the vulva. Although most of the cases are benign, macroscopically they are poorly circumscribed and show adherence to the surrounding connective tissue. Malignant transformation was also reported and recurrence is common in these patients. In this case report, a vulvar granular cell tumor is presented and discussed in a 59-yearold woman with a history of unilateral mastectomy due to breast cancer.
