The aim of this research is to determine anger management levels of parents with mentally retarded and visually impaired children and the other parents who have children without disabilities. In the study, a comparative screening model was used in the relational screening method. This research was carried out with 228 participants in total; the subject group including 41 mothers and 38 fathers with visually impaired children, 37 mothers and 37 fathers with mentally handicapped children, and control group including 36 mothers and 42 fathers with children without disabilities. State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory (STAS) was used to collect data. It is found that there was no statistically significant difference between the subject group and the control group in terms of continuous anger and anger-control. However, there was a statistically significant difference in their anger-in and anger-out levels, in favour of the parents who have children without disabilities. Also, when gender is considered, there was no statistically significant difference in anger-in and danger-out dimensions. In addition, there was no statistically difference in the anger sub-dimensions among the parents with children in both disabilities groups.
