Arts and Helping People

Abstract

In this study, the use of the arts in the field of helping people has been discussed. Many authors stressed the rehabilitative aspects of creative arts therapy. According to this, art therapy attracts attention to the creative expression process and the uniqueness of the strategies used in this process. As a result of these benefits, the arts have a potential of facilitating or increasing personal functioning for people who have developmental difficulties, brain damage and other intellectual problems or other problems related t0 life. This is known as the rehabilitative aspect of the arts. In this article, the importance ofthe arts in human life will be presented by taking into consideration its "helping or therapeutic " aspects.

SANAT VE İNSANA YARDIM

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, sanatın insana yardım alanında kullanımı tartışılmıştır. Sanatın bir biliş formu, normal gelişimin bir parçası, yaşantıyı düzenlemenin bir aracı, grup bağlarım geliştirici ve yaratıcı problem çözme sürecini harekete geçirici, ciddi biçimde zarar görmüşler için başarıyı tatmayı sağlayıcı ve rehabilite edici ortanım "özel kılınmasını " sağlayıcı olduğu pek çok yazar tarafından vurgulanmakladır. Bütün bu özelliklerin sonucu olarak sanatın, gelişimsel engeli olan, beyin hasarı olan, konuşma bozukluğu olan ve diğer birçok zihinsel rahatsızlığı ya da yaşama ilişkin problemleri olan birçok birey için işlevselliği arlmna ya da sağlama potansiyeli vardır. Bu da sanatın rehabilite edici özelliği olarak bilinmektedir. Bu makalede sanatın insan yaşamındaki yeri onun "yardım edici ya da terapötik” özelliği dikkafe alınarak aktarılmaya çalışılacaktır.
