Abstract

Sempozyuma bir giriş olarak yazı, Akdeniz peyzajı, parkları ve bahçelerinin karakterini, ortak tarihi köklerini, sonuç olarak prototipik Akdeniz keyif park ve bahçelerini ortaya çıkaran iklim, botanik unsurlar ve hidrolik tek­nikler gibi bazı ana etkileyici faktörleri araştırmaktadır.

As introduction to the Symposium, the text explores the character of the Mediterranean landscape, its parks and gardens, their common historical roots, and some of the main influential factors such as the climate, the botan­ic elements and the hydraulic techniques that have had as a result the prototypical Mediterranean pleasure parks and gardens
