Pandemi (Covid 19 Salgını) Sürecinin Bireylerin Tatile Çıkma Eğilimlerine Etkisi

Abstract

Yeni koronavirüs (COVID-19) pandemisinin küresel ve yerel turizm endüstrisi üzerinde önemli derecede olumsuz sonuçları olacağı tahmin edilmektedir. Ayrıca salgının oluşturduğu yeni normalde turizm anlayışı ve seyahat şekilleri de değişmektedir. Kalabalık ortamlardan ziyade daha bağımsız seyahatler, eko-turizm, sağlıklı yaşam turizmi daha çok tercih edilen turizm modelleri haline gelmektedir. Bu değişimler işletmelerin hizmet tasarımlarında ve ücretlendirmelerinde farklılıklar meydana getirmekte dolayısı ile bireylerin tatile çıkma eğilimlerinde değişiklikler meydana getirmektedir. COVID-19 küresel sağlık krizi, kapsamı göz önüne alındığında küresel turizm üzerinde benzeri görülmemiş etkilere sahip olacaktır. Turistlerin davranışları ve tercihleri ve bunların küresel turizm pazarı üzerindeki etkileri, endüstri uygulayıcılarının ve politika yapıcıların daha dengeli bir endüstri geliştirmesini sağlamak için derinlemesine analizler yapılmasını gerektirmektedir.
