Documentation of historical artifacts should be created precisely in order to transfer cultural heritage to future generations. In addition, for the conservation work carried out during the restoration and renewal process, the cultural heritage element must be successfully protected. In parallel with the development of technology until today, there have been many developments in documentation studies and these techniques have progressed rapidly. Photogrammetry technique, which is one of the frequently used techniques, provides important advantages in terms of cost and time. Recent developments in the field of photogrammetry have allowed the creation of objects automatically or semi-automatically. In this study, the performance of digital handheld cameras in documenting the cultural heritage was investigated. The 3D model of the Muyi Mubarek Mosque, which is in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan and remained from the 18th century, was modeled using only digital handheld images. As a result of the study, the advantages and disadvantages of the method are examined. In addition, measurements were made from 11 different details of the historical artifact. Of these, 2 were used for scaling the 3D model, and 9 were used for length-based comparison. The scaling process was carried out on two different lines. Based on the lengths, the general accuracy for the first and second lines was calculated as 1.983 and 2.661 cm, respectively.
