Making Chua’s Diode With A Schottky Diode-Bridge-Fed Jfet Mosfet

Öz

Chua circuit is a paradigm for Chaos and commonly used in chaos studies. It has been invented in 1983 and has many variations. Its nonlinear circuit element is called Chua’s diode and it has also lots of different variations. In this study, a circuit which consists of an n type JFET fed by a Schottky diode bridge and a resistor are used to make a Chua’s diode and a Chua’s circuit is made with it. Piecewise-linear Chua’s diode parameters are calculated using parameters of the JFET and the other circuit elements. Experiments are performed to show the circuit’s chaotic behavior.
