Aim & Scope

Turkophone aims to be a scientific resource in which academicians studying on the field of Turkish language teaching, Turcology, Turkish language and literature are published and also they have access on related studies. The main purpose of the journal is to increase and disseminate the literature teaching Turkish as a mother tongue, Turkish language teaching to foreigners, teaching Turkish to bilingual and multilingual individuals, teaching Turkish as a second language, Turcology, Turkish language and literature. Turkophone also evaluate the papers about bilingualism, multilingualisim, teaching and learning mother, foreign and second language of western and eastern languages.

Turkophone is an international peer-reviewed and scientific journal which is published triannually. Turkophone publishes high quality original research articles (quantitative, qualitative) which contribute mainly to Turkish language teaching and learning, Turcology, Turkish language and literature fields. Turkophone also aims to contribute Turkish language teaching to foreigners, teaching Turkish to bilingual and multilingual individuals, teaching Turkish as a second language, bilingualism, multilingualisim, teaching and learning mother, foreign and second language of western and eastern languages. Studies on Turkish language are considered as priority. The publication language of the journal is English and Turkish.
